Why choose Angel Aligners for children and teens?

During your open day appointment, Dr Maha will assess your child’s teeth, bite and development, and explain whether clear aligners or other orthodontic treatment options are the most suitable option.

Clear aligners provide a modern, comfortable way to straighten teeth without fixed braces. They guide teeth gently using light, specialist-planned movements that respect your child’s stage of growth and development.

With specialist orthodontic oversight, every stage is safe and predictable. Aligners are designed digitally and monitored closely to ensure effective results with minimal disruption to your child’s routine.

Starting treatment early - sometimes as young as six - can make a big difference. Early or interceptive orthodontics helps guide teeth and jaws into the right position before problems become more complex, reducing the need for extensive treatment later.

“Every child’s smile develops at its own pace. My role is to guide that growth gently, using science and experience to create space, balance and confidence. Orthodontics for children isn’t about quick fixes - it’s about setting up lifelong oral health.”

Angel Aligners and orthodontic treatment options for children and teens

Angel Aligners are a discreet, comfortable option for many children and teens, designed to fit easily into daily life.

As part of your open day appointment, Dr Maha will assess your child and recommend the most appropriate orthodontic treatment based on their age, bite and stage of development.

Where Angel Aligners are not the most suitable option, alternative orthodontic approaches will be discussed to ensure the best outcome.

Your child’s clear aligner questions answered

Why start orthodontic care early?

Early intervention helps guide teeth and jaw growth before problems become more complex. It can reduce the need for extractions or lengthy treatment later, supporting both dental health and self-confidence.

What types of aligners are available for children?

For younger children (ages 6–10), Invisalign® First offers gentle, growth-friendly alignment. For older children and teens, Invisalign and Angel Aligners provide a comfortable, removable option with predictable results.

How long will my child’s treatment take?

Treatment time depends on growth, cooperation and complexity. Most clear aligner cases for children last between 6 and 18 months. Dr Maha will outline an accurate timeline at your consultation.

Will aligners affect my child’s comfort or speech?

Aligners are thin, smooth and comfortable. Children usually adjust within a few days, and most find aligners far easier than fixed braces for speaking, eating and brushing.

How do I support my child’s oral hygiene during treatment?

Because aligners are removable, it’s easy to maintain excellent oral hygiene. Dr Maha provides clear, practical advice for daily care to keep teeth healthy throughout treatment.

Are clear aligners suitable for all children?

Not always. Suitability depends on the child’s age, growth and dental development. If clear aligners aren’t ideal, Dr Maha will discuss alternative options to achieve the best possible outcome.
